When the bee needs to feed on nectar or water, it extends its proboscis to reach into the flower or water source. This retractable feature allows the bee to efficiently feed and then tuck its proboscis away when not in use. **

To keep flowers fresh, you can start by trimming the stems at an angle and removing any leaves that will be submerged in water. Then, place the flowers in a clean vase filled with fresh water and add a floral preservative to help nourish the flowers. It's important to change the water every 2-3 days and re-trim the stems to ensure they can continue to absorb water. Additionally, keep the flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts, and fruit, as these can all cause the flowers to wilt more quickly. **

Additionally, the locking mechanism on retractable leashes can be unreliable, leading to sudden changes in leash length that can startle or injure the dog or owner. Overall, it is safer to use a standard fixed-length leash for better control and safety. **
